Early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel. Drive south towards Amboseli National Park (approximately 4 hours) with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive for lunch at your lodge, then embark on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning backdrop of Africa's highest peak. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar.
Wake up to views of Kilimanjaro at sunrise. Full day of game drives exploring Amboseli's diverse habitats - from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to the sulfur springs at Observation Hill. Look for elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos, and over 400 bird species. Optional visit to a Maasai village. All meals and overnight at your lodge.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 6 hours drive via Nairobi). Arrive for late lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a rhino sanctuary and home to both black and white rhinos, as well as flamingos, leopards, and Rothschild giraffes. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge or similar.
Early morning game drive to catch predators in action and enjoy the lake's birdlife. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi (approximately 3 hours), arriving by early afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
